City’s Quarterly Electronic Recycling Day Scheduled

City Seeks Participants for Money Smart for Small Business Program

The City’s Minority Business Development (MBD) office is hosting a September information session for companies interested in participating in the agency’s Money Smart for Small Business program. MBD is partnering with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to present the 10-module business course. The curriculum provides introductory training for new and aspiring entrepreneurs on the basics of organizing and managing a business. MBD will hold a brief informational session on Tuesday, September 9 at the Richmond Police Training Academy, 1202 West Graham Road. The session will describe the program, participant’s responsibilities, benefits and the graduation requirements.
