On the heels of a public health emergency and during a movement toward racial truth and reconciliation, it is more important than ever that we hear from you about the services that we provide to our City. City Offices Closed April 2 for Spring Holiday / Good Friday City government offices, including City Hall, will be closed on Friday, April 2 for the Spring Holiday / Good Friday. City offices will resume normal business hours on Monday, April 5. This closure includes all branches of the Richmond Public Library. The East End, Hull Street and North Avenue branches will also be closed Saturday, April 3. All branches of the Richmond Public Library will reopen for curbside services on Monday, April 5. Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) is closed to the public, but staff is on site from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day to accommodate essential business functions. All adoptions are scheduled by appointment only until further notice. All Parks, Recreation & Community facilities offices and city community centers will be closed April 2. This closure also includes all indoor and outdoor swimming pools. All Department of Public Works offices will also be closed. There will be no trash or bulk co
