City’s Minority Business Development Office To Host A Small Business Financial Conference

The City’s Office of Minority Business Development, in partnership with the City’s Department of Economic and Community Development and Virginia Union University, invites local business owners and entrepreneurs to the Minority Business Development RVA Capital Access 2014 Financial Conference. The conference will be held at the Carillion in Byrd Park, 1300 Blanton Avenue, on Tuesday, May 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The conference will feature presentations from financial experts, details of new business loan opportunities, free on-site consulting, networking opportunities and giveaways. Conference admission and refreshments are free.

Featured financial experts include representatives from the City of Richmond, U. S. Small Business Administration, Commonwealth of Virginia, Kiva Zip, Raymond Kendall Group, LISC, local and national banks, credit unions and other financial resources. The goal of the RVA Capital Access 2014 Financial Conference is to expose attendees to the process of successfully obtaining financial resources that are needed and available based on the individual company’s financial abilities.
